To be clear, neither flying nor hiring a house cleaner is a class thing (class is a structural, not an income concept), nor am I a moralist either way (people respond to incentives & structures, idc either way, i care about changing the structures)

And, I also, hopefully obviously, don’t think people should attack commercial planes. I’m also stunned constantly on twitter by people who celebrate some kinds of moralistic violence but then get hopping red mad about other kinds.

I don’t like retributive & moralistic violence of any kind. Seems like the easiest position to hold tbh. I *also* endeavor my best to understand why people do have those positions, even where I dislike them.

I don’t like to delete things, so I’ll say straight up. I shared guillotine memes and tweeted about it in the past. It was cringe. I shouldn’t have. It’s stupid. They’re inconsistent with being anti retributivist and anti moralist. But i apply those positions consistently!

Also, to the person in question being dragged here, I will say this. I am not petty, i just don’t like nonsense & moralism. If they delete their ‘anti civs are evil’ post, (& i hope they understand why it isn’t fair, but it’s not necessary), I’ll delete this thread.

They seem like a nice person, so I’m honestly not tryna bully, I’m just literally sick of the way leftists on this site use ecological & related politics as a scapegoat for literally everything. And yes i know social media doesn’t matter.
