I was in law school when @PinjraTod movement started in Delhi.

Back then, as every resident of RMLNLU's girls' hostel would vouch, we would protest every semester against one or other arbitrary administration policy.

I specifically remember it was around end sem exams when we were protesting against in-timings of girls's hostel.
We would be asked to be in the campus at 8 PM and within the hostel by 10 PM.
Library timings were till 10:30 PM.

University administration came up with all sorts of excuses but eventually the students prevailed and our in-timings were increased to 12:00am at night. (3/n)
As a second year kid who had just started understanding these issues and vocally joining these protests, I thought how empowering @PinjraTod and my college seniors were.

I wrote about this movement in my sociology exam, and also made a project on #HokKolorob.

It is so heart-breaking to see that the prominent voice of Pinjra Tod have been arrested for voicing their opinion while the real perpetrators of North East Delhi violence sit comfortably in their homes.

To Devangana, Natasha, Sadaf, Safoora and every other woman who has been vocally fighting this battle, we stand in solidarity with you.

And thank you from hundreds of girls whose voices were amplified by @PinjraTod .
