Today is #PansexualVisibilityDay!

Pansexuality is attraction towards people regardless of their gender.

Let’s celebrate this day by learning more about our #pansexual siblings with this infographic:

CLARIFICATION:

We’re not saying that bisexuality doesn’t recognize non-binary identities. It does!

That’s emphasized by pansexuality & other identities under the bi+ umbrella like polysexual (many but not all genders), omnisexual (all genders), fluid (changes over time), etc.

We pointed out that pansexuality “recognizes non-binary identities” to stress that being “gender-blind” DOESN’T mean that pansexual people don’t respect the gender of other people, especially non-binary (& binary trans) people who experience the worst invalidation & erasure.

“Gender-blind” when used for pansexual people means that gender has nothing to do with their attraction to others (& not that they invalidate others’ gender identities).
