At the end of March my mom and I were gonna make a couple masks as a joke/gift for @AVOIDKICKSASS, then we ended up buying a ton of cute fabric, made a couple more than we planned, so she posted on Facebook asking if anyone wanted or needed some masks

And now it’s the end of May and I just counted and we’ve made over 800 masks most were donated or gifted to friends and family, or just anyone on the internet who reached out.

I realized early on that my friends were buying masks online that wouldn’t be delivered for weeks, and we realized we could do something about that so we just kinda...did

plus we’re really bad about buying cute fabric I mean come ON am I supposed to pass on tiny cats with balls of yarn, or sharks or cherry blossoms? no, I’m not so be quiet

It isn’t that hard to cover your face when you’re out getting groceries or picking up lunch. Sometimes it feels like the only thing you CAN do to help what’s going on right now. So like...just do it
