rockstar kirishima being an international sex symbol because of the provocative ways he performs and the rumors around him and how much he (respectfully) flirts with fans, talk show hosts, other celebrities, literally everyone.

except he’s secretly a big ol’ virgin.

and it’s too late to do anything now!! practically the whole world sees him as some sort of sex god, it would be so embarrassing if his partner is expecting that and just gets him, inexperienced and coming in 0.7 seconds. and he KNOWS he would.

and they’ve definitely played into the whole promiscuous thing, so he’s constantly getting questions like,

he thinks that last one is goofy as hell, but fans eat it up, so whatever.

and ik this troupe might be overused but bakugou is only pretending to not recognize him, and he totally thinks his whole “blushing virgin” thing is an act to get him into bed

and for a sprinkle of angst, kirishima is so excited to be able to tell someone about his lack of experience without worrying about his image, and he doesn’t realize bakugou doesn’t believe him -

so when they’re finally work up to “the big act” in eijirou’s hotel room, he can see how visibly underwhelmed bakugou is, and it makes him feel horrible. he told the guy he was inexperienced, and he still somehow disappointed him.

god, he was apparently so bad he didn’t live up to VIRGIN standards. his pride is hurt and he’s kinda pissed at that guy for making him feel so shitty right after his first time, so he locks himself in the bathroom and tells bakugou to be gone by the time he’s done in the shower

bakugou has realized by now that he wasn’t fucking kidding when he said he didn’t know what he was doing, and he feels like shit for upsetting him like that.

it wasn’t really /bad/ or anything, just not at all what he was expecting, and he must’ve shown that on his face.

he writes out a little apology on the notepad on the nightstand, and makes sure to include that he didn’t mean to seem like he didn’t enjoy it, and that he would gladly do it (or him) again if given the chance.

he leaves his phone number and room number too but that’s unimportant.

bakugou is happy to find kirishima at the hotel bar the next night, where he is honest to god /pouting/. he makes it look surprisingly cute for a grown man.

katsuki swallows a bit more of his pride to go apologize in person, and kirishima still just pouts without looking at him. well, katsuki hurt his ego, maybe building it a little bit wouldn’t hurt.

he tells him that he’s the hottest person he’s ever slept with and he has a shit ton of potential when it comes to fucking. kirishima gives him a side eye, but bakugou knows he’s succeeded in his attempt at an ego boost when he asks, “Really?”

anyway, they spend the rest of their vacations getting kirishima’s sexual confidence and experience up, but bakugou has to hide how ticked he is that they’re really about to go their separate ways forever.

meanwhile, kirishima is just like “well, he gave me his number, so we’re probably going to talk and maybe hang out really often”

for the first time in his career, kirishima is almost disappointed to go back to work when the week is over. he’s got a lot of shows coming up, he’s gonna be really busy, so he might not get to talk to bakugou a lot

everyone in bakugou’s lab is surprised that he’s somehow even grumpier after his vacation, but it’s not like he’s just gonna come out and say “I had sex with my celebrity crush for a full week and maybe perhaps got a little bit of feelings for him and I’m pissed that it’s over.”

kirishima is THRIVING. he doesn’t feel quite as silly keeping up his reputation, now that he’s not literally the exact opposite of what his fans thought he was.

he doesn’t really know when to text bakugou though. he’s not really used to initiating contact.

usually if someone wants to talk to him, they’ll find a way, but he really doesn’t think bakugou is the kind of guy to dm him on insta/gram, so he has to ask the internet for advice.

it’s apparently been long enough to text that he won’t come off as clingy or anything, so he just sends
“hey :)”

which receives
“Wrong number.”
and a block.

he’s like 90% sure bakugou wasn’t just trying to avoid him, and that text really seemed like him, so kirishima gets tetsu to let him borrow his phone so he can try again

bakugou bangs his head on his desk and feels like a total moron. he didn’t even entertain the idea that he would ever actually contact him, and he’s fucking lucky Kirishima tried a second time.

he obviously unblocks his number, and they get to talking somewhat regularly, but they’re both career driven and very fucking busy, so it’s not as often as either of them would like.

but when they do get a chance to talk, it’s usually long and personal conversations, and both of them treasure that.
