#anime Fma Brotherhood is a really good show and there was a point in time where I considered it my all time favourite anime, but I think my opinion of it has gradually lessened over time. I've seen more stuff and my tastes and values have changed. I've realised that brotherhoods

direction is fairly standard, not bad mind you, just mostly unremarkable. Tbh I think 2003 actually has far more interesting and impactful direction, it uses lighting and colour so well, and while I think the writing gets kinda funky, its visual presentation is much stronger.

Brotherhood is the perfect gateway anime for someone who hasn't much experience with the medium and I've glad I watched it but I also think there are far more unique and interesting works outhere. If I were to rewatch it today I'd probably give it an 8 as opposed to the 10 I use
