honestly joques of her crimes aside, it makes me rly sad that azula never got a redemption in the comics. ik she did some really horrible stuff, and her arc in the show is meant to contrast directly with zuko's, but it makes me sad that she never even came close to healing

i think after the search, she couldve had a shot at it. i think that was a time where a lot of aspects about herself that shed constructed started forming cracks. i think if she would ever had a chance as change, thats when it wouldve happened.

but it didn't. it didnt because there was no one to encourage that change- and for good reason!

but i like to think that even someone has horrible and cruel as her would be capable of change. i like to think that it would be possible for even someone like her to rise above the abuse and situation of her birth to learn about love. about kindness.

it makes me sad to think that in her arc, she never, ever, understood something as small and basic as good for the sake of good.
