I& #39;m black but... when @TheDCUniverse casted for Star Fire in @DCUTitans, I thought they would& #39;ve gone with a Hispanic bc she honestly didn& #39;t look black imo.. tbh I was shocked to find out she was... black comes in all shades but I just didn& #39;t expect that with star fire. https://twitter.com/koryverse/status/1264231114442407936">https://twitter.com/koryverse...
The actress they& #39;ve chosen for her, tho, is still deserving of her opportunity to play her and is very talented. However, that& #39;s just somthin I& #39;ve thot for a while... lol would& #39;ve been https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💫" title="Dizzy symbol" aria-label="Emoji: Dizzy symbol">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🔥" title="Fire" aria-label="Emoji: Fire">
Would be cool to see Bumblee (in @DCDoomPatrol) and Jinx make an appearance... just sayin... https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đź‘€" title="Eyes" aria-label="Emoji: Eyes">
Also, regarding my first tweet of this thread, I know there& #39;s no definite "look" that black ppl have, it& #39;s just how I feel about how/who star fire should& #39;ve been portrayed by.
I felt @TheDCUniverse casted a black woman during a time ppl demanded more of their inclusion. It just felt forced to me. It shouldn& #39;t take a call for action for their to be inclusivity when it should& #39;ve come naturally.
