Y’ALL. i got a theory that this sample will be in “God’s Country” or whatever kanye plans to release next week⬇️HERE’S WHY
1. considering he just released jik,is working on a new album and a music video (hence the cinematographer) he hasn’t had a lot of time to actual work on every individual song. my guess is he’s just wrapping up a video for a song he’s already had an ample amount of time to finish
2. he’s had this sample for roughly a year now and he knows it broke the internet. furthermore, he contacted the preacher he sampled here and used him on jik. not only has he had ample time to finish this song, he’s also shown prior interest in this sample and the guy on it
3. the track is titled “God’s Country”. is this sample not gospel inspired? considering he did this during sunday service it does seem unsecular enough to me
clarification: the guy who gave out the god’s country info is a famous cinematographer who is currently working with kanye so that’s where i’m guessing kanye is probably releasing a music video from
especially with the corona lockdown he’s probably even had less time to work—which adds to my suspicion the song is one he already completed.
4. this sample directly CONTRASTS the vibe on jesus is king, which is slightly more gospel and less hiphop. it would make sense if he saved this sample for a different album
5. furthermore, he’s a perfectionist so i wouldn’t be too suprised if he took his time with this sample, knowing it was so well percieved.
6. it makes sense to release it as a SINGLE, as he knows everyone likes it and it has a higher chance of doing well than songs/samples we haven’t heard
