This is a thread about why y’all need to put some FUCKING RESPECT on Sakura Haruno’s name, and why I will never forgive Kishimoto for how he held back her potential for so long.

First of all if you are comparing her to Sasuke and Naruto...stop. Half of the Naruto cast was BORN INTO a clan with special genetics and passed down secret ninjutsu. Naruto has a literal magic beast and legendary bloodline. Sasuke has magic eyes and a legendary bloodline.

Sakura was not born into any privilege and worked her way from the BOTTOM to become one of the most useful characters and YES I SAID USEFUL. Let’s get into the things she has accomplished with her own pure talent!

FIRST LETS TALK ABOUT ONE IF THEE GREATEST FIGHTS IN ALL OF NARUTO. Sakura and Chiyo vs Sasori. Not ONLY did Chiyo say that Sakura did NOT need her help halfway through the fight, but SASORI HIMSELF GAVE HER PRAISE. This was REAL NINJA THROWDOWN AND SHE ATE HIM THEE FUCK UP!

She literally NEUTRALIZED his poison, which had an incredibly complex make up, with her medical prowess. And then proceed to beat his ass with the help of Chiyo, who once again, stated that once she really put herself in the fight she was fine on her own. QUEEN SHIT.

Let’s just get into how many lives Sakura has saved since she’s so “useless”
-Saved Kankuro from certain death by creating an antidote for a poison that even THE SAND VILLAGE COULD NOT UNDERSTAND.
-Saved yalls fav Shikamaru in the Great Ninja War

-Saved Karin after y’all fav Sasuke literally tried to kill her
-Saved NARUTO TWICE IN THE FIRST SERIES
-LITERALLY SAVED NARUTO FROM DEATH AFTER THE NINE TAILS WAS RIPPED OUT OF HIM IN THE WAR. And she did it by carefully inserting herself into his chest to KEEP HIS HEART BEATING

Now let’s talk about how Kishimoto held her back. Yes there were moments when she didn’t live up to what people expected of her, but y’all can thank Kishimoto for that. There are a lot of issues I find with how he wrote the women characters. But that’s anime in general.

One of my favorite things about her is that she PUT THEM NIGGAS IN THEY PLACE WHEN THEY WERE DISRESPECTFUL OR PERVY! She ate Sai DOWN when he came for her.

This thread is getting long so IN CONCLUSION: Sakura gave us one the greatest fights of the show, saved y’alls favs MANY times, fulfilled her role as a medic ninja, got the man of her dreams, raised an iconic daughter, and surpassed her master, WITHOUT a magic beast or magic eyes
