okay this is a bit random but please vote if you have an actual voice that you HEAR saying your thoughts in your head
like i've been thinking about this for a WHILE now since seeing people here talking about their inner voices and my thoughts are almost never auditory. like the only times i "hear" stuff in my head are songs i have stuck, or if i'm recalling a conversation i had/heard, etc.
but that's like my real voice/more of a thought about it than anything else and my understanding is that your voice and inner voice may differ? but i never hear anything what i read or write either. i feel like that's why i would always read vocab words aloud when i had to learn
new ones in school so i could actually hear them, like i always preferred auditory experiences as opposed to visual ones but i always thought itwas my myopia at hand lol. idk ever since i found out aphantasia existed (even though i don't have it), i somewhat correlated this with
that. so if you do have any thought about this, please do let me know! i'm no neurologist but i find it extremely interesting how much we actually think and never talk about HOW we think so finding that this differs amongst people is often fascinating (hence this thread lol)
