Watched Terminator: Dark Fate.
Finally a proper sequel to Terminator 2.
Turns out all you needed to make a good Terminator movie again was to let James Cameron write (along with 5 others) and Tim Miller, the director for the first Deadpool, direct.
Oh and some F/F :chefkiss:

I'm not going to post a bunch of screenshots and talk about the movie in great detail right now because it's late and I'm tired, so I'll just share this review on Letterboxd.
I really want to post a bunch of screenshots and talk about this movie, but I really shouldn't. So I'll leave this thread with this.
Grace and Dani.
Just.
Them.
Yes.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.

I have been seeing Grace/Dani fics on AO3 ever since the movie came about and since I didn't have any interest in the movie (because I was avoiding any promotion for it, as I always do because that's just how I am), the pairing didn't really register in my brain.
"Two female characters in a Hollywood movie huh. Probably just the usual shipping that fans do. Been there, done that. Whatever. I'll watch the movie eventually."
I wasn't prepared. At all.
They're good. Oh they're so damn good.

Since I just watched the movie, my feelings about Grace and Dani are pretty mangled, tangled & just one big mess. I'm guessing a second watch will untangle a lot of those feelings, then subsequent watches will probably make their relationship even better. I look forward to that.
