This messaging starts needing to come across. @DFisman is spot on along with some of my colleague @DocDominik s arguement. This in Ontario is not the same disease across all regions, and policy needs to reflect that. This affects even guideline committtes which I have worked on
Folks in trinity Bellwood are throwing gasoline on a raging 🔥 and Toronto docs like @SharkawyMD deserve to be mad. But the way forward means acquiring high quality data across this province to inform regional decision making.
I’ve had the pleasure to live/train/work in Windsor, London, Hamilton, Toronto, Peterborough, Belleville, Kingston, Brockville, and Thunder Bay - and the discrepancies in healthcare systems, in people’s attitudes, and community needs has taught me this is not a one size fits all
