I have this old issue with Cummings. From interviews we did about the disapplication of ICT and introduction of Computer Science in English schools in 2012-13, it seems he was central in changing the nature of any technology education for children. The result?

Just to be clear, if Cummings was as involved in getting computing into the curriculum, and powering up the learning to code movement in UK as I believe he was, this was part of concerted effort to produce new computational operatives to support "digital government" aspirations.
