Is being born with talent a real thing

My dad just discredited my entire career because he said his mom drew and he draws so because of that I good in art and I've always been good because in kindergarten I drew a 3d house and teachers went nuts.

Im so fucking pissed that this is still a discussion

I started to draw because kids didn't ram my fucking entire ass head into concrete when I would make them illustrations. It made me happy to not suffer from physical abuse so I drew like a machine to provide them art so they wouldn't attack me.

I spent years of my life where I couldn't see the blackboard since I didn't have glasses so I passed time drawing because I thought talent was real and never bothered to learn anything else than art.

I only started to get better in art once I learned how Photoshop works to get the results I wanted. Talent isn't real, suck my dick.
