I’m almost done with season one of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and I don’t know why I didn’t already start doing this but lemme go ahead and tweet my 26 year old thoughts on the show as I progress
Sokka and Katara shoulda whooped Aang’s ass for hiding that map to their father.
The amount of sexism Katara had to put up with in this first season is insane to watch in real time
I woulda left Zuko in the snow but clearly I’m not as nice of a person as I think I am

I’m pretty sure I said this as a kid but airbending might be the best bending, because as long as you’re on earth there’s air everywhere to be manipulated.
Well, of course fire benders can make fire out if nothing. But like that one water bending master said, it’s the one element that you can’t 100% control.
Bro... Azula was pure hell as a kid.
Also, I never noticed how funny these animal combinations are until now.
I don’t remember being this consistently pissed off at Aang back in 2005

What blew me most about Aang refusing the last part of the chakra training was that he completely missed the point the guru was trying to make.
Buddy told him to learn how to let go. He ain’t say Aang could never love again.
Season two done and honestly Katara shoulda offed Zuko while they were stuck in the crystal chamber.
I gotta say, the Fire Nation’s vehicle and weapon technology was pretty amazing for the time period.
Ahhh, I’ve made it to the blood bending episode.
I wonder why nobody before Toph even attempted metal bending.
