The only thing I remember was him losing a war (or several maybe) and generally thinking he sucked. And that Charles XI was better.
Okay I can see this... Stannis people and/or history people, you should get on this.
Especially the part where he’s at first successful in Russia despite being outnumbered, but then having to flee after a defeat, then coming back from one last fight/siege and dying.

Also being a great military commander and refusing to giving up a (according to him) just war.
