let's start by THE CUTEST staring scene in season 1.
1 : their gazes are DEEP.
2 : reality aka. Jerry hit them hard in the face and you can see that, clearly, it hurts.

2 : just a Gilbert scene since his love is so strong it also offsets Anne's.
middle of the ocean. other side of the world on a steamship full of what used to be strangers. a boy talking about his love's fiery temper, getting lost in the thought he might never see her again.

3. i will NEVER shut up about this scene.
the motherfucking heart eyes.
that's all.
this dinner was all about his stare and you can't tell me otherwise

yes he is.
and how she quickly turns her look away, afraid she might fall in love even harder

5. not the hug scene but more the moment after.
