woojin didn’t leave skz or jyp, he was kicked: a thread
terminating a contract, especially with an entertainment company, is not easy. it’s a very long and hard process, which can take years.
woojin left skz on short notice. they were just preparing for a comeback when jyp made the announcement. if he had been planning to terminate his contract, why would they be making plans for the group? why would we hear nothing about it? why was he fine just weeks before?
take the ex members of exo (kris, luhan, tao) as examples. when they were planning to leave on their own accord, they had to file lawsuits against sm entertainment which took many months. (unfortunately, tao lost the lawsuit and had to pay sm thousands of dollars)
the reason we never heard of these things regarding woojin is because he was kicked from skz. the company terminated his contract FOR him. this same thing happened to jay park in 2009, when he was forced out of 2pm for causing a big controversy.
and, what a surprise, it was also sudden. actually on the brink of their 1 year anniversary. this goes to show jyp is not kind when it comes to members of his groups fucking up.
another example of this happening in jyp is with day6’s junhyeok. another member forced out of their group. and look at that, jyp also called it “personal reasons” :,)
so, yes. woojin did not leave skz on his own accord. he was forced out by jyp because he fucked up. rationalize it all you want, the facts and logic are right here.
note: notice how the article i attached for tao’s final appeal was written in 2018? he filed the lawsuit in august 2015. he had to fight 3 years for his freedom after being abused and treated like a product. he and the other ex members of exo are victims. woojin is not.
