I rescued my dog, Shrimp, 2 years ago this coming December. He just went out of his way to sit next to me on the couch. This doesn’t sound like much but I truly never thought that would happen.

He has been scared of people since he was taken in at the shelter and it has taken a lot of patience and trust to even have him not get up when we sit down on the couch even 4 feet away from him. But he is such a funny and playful dog and a great addition to our family.
