Ok like I realised this when I was learning Arabic tooo!! But tbh this is like every language I learned. EXCEPT Japanese. There's still dialects in Japanese but like...the stuff u learn in a class isn't like weirdly off base. Its just a little bit off base.
Spanish fucked me up tho ooo. The only reason I knew Spanish was bc of my neighbors. They spoke spqnish from Mexico

In Georgia the best language to learn is Spanish. Lots of people from spanish speaking countries live here. So like you can learn it in school and then u go outside and like hear how real ppl speak. The dialect here isn't that different...its like an English dialect u can get it.

In school they teach Spanish from Spain. So like when i watch those Netflix shoes from Spain, i understand a lot more. They dont teach spanish dialects.

In Arabic they teach you Arabic like you're learning the Quran. In Japanese they teach u like really formal kind of 1980s Japanese. So you sound really girly. The only thing I've noticed is English classes will sometimes make u learn unnecessarily fancy words...

Its good to understand this if you like language becauseee you will know how to fix yourself for talking to actual native speakers. Its really stressful when u spend a lot time learning and like you turn around and nobody understands you. Don't worry! Lolol
