Post COVID business opportunities thread Part 1. Note that everything in this thread is my personal view and opinion and not based on any statistics.

Part 1 will be about Internet based opportunities post covid. Internet will be one of the most useful instrument after Covid19. Let’s get into it.

First opportunity is about payment gateway. @square and @clovercommerce are the two major payment gateways for petty traders and SMEs in North America, UK, Japan and some parts of Asia. Reaching out to these organizations to bring them to your respective countries will be great.

These two are big on marketing their brands to the everyday traders in axis where they operate, so in your proposal to them, you should be able to assure them of your ability to reach the grassroots.

Another opportunity is online based tutors. If you’re able to create an app that connects teachers with parents/guardians and students. Zoom is great but an app that fully caters to educators and their wards will thrive.

You might also want to consider games and gaming accessories as a lot of teenagers and adults will be spending more time at home.

Another industry that will boom is the sex toy industry. If you’re all about your money and don’t care. You can buy in bulk from @AlibabaGroup and make huge profit.

From staying home a lot of people will gain weight. If you’re a fitness enthusiast you can a start a virtual fitness coaching class for people. Referral will the do the rest of the job when people see results.

Post covid, a lot of people will be working from home, with little capital you can start a business of selling gadget holding accessories like phone mounts, laptop stands, portable or foldable workstation.

If you’re an academic/ scholar, you can sign up on @udemy or @coursera to teach classes and courses in your unique way. People make a lot of money from this.
