Can we talk about the ZERO availability of public toilets right now? I've had to travel into town for meds twice recently (3.5hr round trip). No public toilets open, no cafe's etc will allow use. Had to ask a Garda Station at one point. What are people's opinions on this?

People travel long distances through town to/from work, some people may have conditions that they cant wait hours, then children/elderly.
I was parched by the time I got home because I didnt want to drink anything encase I got stuck. Saw so many people having to pee on the street

What are peoples opinions of cafes/restaurants not permitting people to use facilities and all public toilets being closed? How do we fix it?

Also, this is not something caused by Intravenous drug users before people say that, this toilet shut down has only occurred since covid lockdown.

To clarify, this has only occurred in the past 2-3 weeks. All shopping centers have closed toilet facilities and cafes/restaurants are not allowing even customers to use their toilets. It’s purely Covid related of recent weeks.
