fanfiction doesn’t have to be a bound bundle of dead tree for it to count as literature. i read fanfics that were 10 times better than actual published works and for the low cost of $0.00. that shit is breathtaking

i also realized that i rarely ever re-read books, but it doesn’t take me much to fall back into my favorite +150k fics (most of which i read an ungodly number of times) it’s just unfathomably comforting
