I don’t think the black esthis realize that we have cheapened ourselves and what we do by giving out too much free info. But if we didn’t give the free info y’all wouldn’t have trusted us with your skin because we are black. So now what we gone do to fix it?
I saw a document the other day from a young lady whose not a skin care pro but simply compiled recommendations from some Esthis on the TL and organized them into a chart. I’m not into most of the recs BUT the fact that she was able to do that means we have undervalued ourselves
I love what i do and sharing my knowledge but there has to be an established boundary of what’s free and what’s not. Cuz i paid $10,000 for Esthetics school 5 years ago
It’s been heavy on my brain since I’ve been home because i know so many Estheticians who won’t have a business after this. Who guna have to start from scratch because they weren’t popular enough to get a promo code with a brand or maintain income
