Please #FireMikeMearls. Wizards, you can't keep on saying you're so encouraging of inclusivity and that you're going to do better when you continue to give work to a man who has done such awful stuff.
It's become lip service at this point and is honestly shameful. 1/5
Instead of constantly resisting the inevitable change that is going to come from this, just let it happen. Don't let D&D die on this hill. Let D&D become better. Hire more diverse people and don't let those who are abusers and abuse defenders stay in their positions. 2/5
It's painfully obvious that he's only there because he is a 'big D&D name', he's 'a legend', but just because a person has made a name for themselves, it doesn't mean they're actually a good and nice person.
Fire him and hire new voices in. There are so many people out here- 3/5
in the ttrpg community that have so much to offer, so many exciting things they could bring to D&D. Firing MM will not cost you any money or sales because the community wants him gone. Stop clinging to bad people like this, admit you were wrong, fire him, and move on and- 4/5
show that you can and will be better in the future. Actions are what speaks far louder than the words you keep on saying and doing nothing with.
Please do the right thing.
5/5.
