People who think we can't possibly organize a successful mutiny against the inept old guard leadership of a broken and dysfunctional political party, but who suppose that we can somehow magically pull off a revolution
To be clear, these things aren't mutually exclusive. But the apocalyptic thinking that supposes that we'll somehow have the upper hand when the system collapses—if we haven't proven ourselves as capable insurgent leaders in the struggles prior to that collapse—is delusional.
Maybe an unpopular opinion but the biggest subjective factor holding back a political revolution along the lines drawn by Sanders' campaign is presently our own lack of organization, leadership & acumen. Our opponents aren't invincible—strong in some ways, weak af in other ways.
I say this as a person who has dedicated most of my life to building such capacity. The good news is we're light years ahead of where we were even 10 years ago. Popular opinion is more on our side and our subjective capacity (numbers, leaders, skills, organizations) has grown.
The lesson from Bernie 2020 and from the past 10 years of struggle is not to give up when we've come closer than any time in the past half century.

The fact that Dem Establishment attacked—rather than just ignoring us—is itself a giant step forward. It means we're a threat.
Remember:
First they ignore you.
Then they attack you.
Then you win.

Not automatically. Not magically. But by doing the patient work of building our forces and studying our losses and our victories.
