I'm way into the idea of Norway's SlowTV: hours/days of fires, train trips, boat trips, parties, & inspired by that; & by quarantine; & by something my sister LeeAnne (RIPđŸ˜Ș) once said, "Wherever I live, I just want lots of wall space, so I can have a home full of books & art!"--
(cont'd)I have begun a full-house survey of all our books (& wall art) (mostly books), meaning about 6,000 books. I'm half-taking my time with it, & filming it all, & posting the videos on YouTube. When I'm done, I will edit all the videos down into a single weird documentary--
(cont'd, part 3)& Mauro will create a score & I'll buy & learn an editing program. A HOME FULL OF BOOKS & ART. That'll be the doc title. & when I get to books that belong to others in the fam, their voices will join me. Oh yeah: no faces will ever appear in any of it. All books--
: check it out on YouTube if you like book recommends or looking at books. I wish videos like this were more of a thing, really. I want to see all the books! The doc version will have on-screen corrections as I make mistakes.
(cont'd/concluding) My friend Dakota called this an experiment in the radically mundane, which I like. But hey, Andy Warhol made SLEEP. This at least has words.
