In today's Xenophobia Awards, yesterday a member of
@BTS_twt, biggest group in the world, released a solo album which topped charts worldwide & in the US, and @RollingStone couldn't be bothered to acknowledge it, though they wrote extensively when he featured on a Western album.
And you know what? He didn't actually /need/ them to write about his album, because it got attention worldwide anyway. That's what happens when you're one of the top artists in the entire world.

But the point remains: Their silence is ridiculous.
I'm never going to stop calling out the industry for things like this. It is SO stupid, and it needs to stop. I'm so grateful for people like @LaineyGossip who call attention to this kind of crap, because @BTS_twt has way too few high-profile advocates. Just makes me angry.
Yesterday Ari & Gaga were covered nonstop by every media outlet & had INSANE playlisting & promo. @RollingStone posted articles about BOTH the song & MV.

Yet @BTS_twt AgustD achieved #1 on the chart w/no promo, no playlisting & RS couldn't be bothered to even mention it once.
The fact that @BTS_twt has continued to blast through the records they have is absolutely incredible when you look at the odds they're facing. Regardless of whether anything ever changes, they are carving a path of their own. And I'm never going to shut up about it.
