I went to petrol station today after a long time. The guy who filled the fuel in the petrol tank was wearing white cotton gloves which had turned black at glove tips due to grease, dirt and fuel.

The institutional quarantine for domestic passengers is a flawed strategy. This will only prolong the financial distress plaguing our economy.

If govt is serious about fighting covid battle and ensuring the economic revival at the same time then institutional quarantine won't help. Govt should focus on providing disposable gloves, masks to passengers, fuel station attendants, bus conductors, drivers, sabziwalas.

Let people get used to maintain physical distancing and ensuring fresh gloves and masks are used at all times. That will help slow the spread of covid virus.

Govt's focus should entirely be on enhancing the healthcare infra, cleanliness in quarantine centres and making safety gear available to every person. Institutional quarantine for passengers is a bad idea.
