Just because we don't spread imperialist propaganda about "x" country it doesn't mean that we don't have our own criticisms.

A lot of people seem to believe that only because we aren't quoting WaPo or NYT articles that we are blind people who give uncritical support.
This is why we emphasize on giving *critical* support to movements/parties/etc.

But every criticism we give has to be based on facts and not in opportunism or imperialist propaganda.
Also, the people actually organizing in those countries/movements/etc will generally have a better insight than those who are outside of it.
Also, only because one group has some issues it doesn't mean you have to outright support the right-wing opposition or support a US-backed coup in hopes that it will "make a leftist movement rise" (which will obviously never happen don't be naive af).
For example, I think anyone can agree that PT from Brazil does have issues, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't have supported it in 2018, especially when the other option was fucking fascist Jair Bolsonaro.
Something horrible tho is that a lot of western leftists can be incredibly open to giving "critical support" to people like Bernie Sanders (an actual imperialist capitalist) but when it comes to Venezuela, China, Cuba, etc they're like "naaah fuck them".
