I mean, yes, absolutely, when future generations (fingers crossed) are writing papers and books and screenplays about this time, stuff like that will factor in. It'll be very poignant.

But even if it "looks terrible" that will only matter if it changes the way mainstream media covers DJT. If THEY change their narrative, it might change the consensus opinion of him, which might change the election outcome.

But I think the mainstream national media is TERRIFIED of that -- they won't even ACKNOWLEDGE that their coverage of a presidential race might affect the outcome of that race, let alone TRY to use that influence to the good.

The plain truth is that covering DJT HONESTLY makes him look like the nightmare he is -- a cruel, racist, misogynist, ignorant grifter with a mob boss mentality and an utter disregard for the human cost of anything he does -- so they won't do it because it looks "biased."

In their effort to avoid LOOKING like they want the Democrat to win, mainstream media inevitably does backflips for the Republican & then pretends that's just "neutrality."
