My music teacher have shared our training session on facebook and shows how mentally abusive and mentally challenging he is when we're training. We've been shouted and insult many times by him. Does this means he's not a good music teacher? no. why?

He's simply pushing us into perfection. Shape us into something better that many children of our age aren't able to do. Does it discouraged us? yes. Does it stop us from loving music? no. once I've thought of quitting the band and dont want to be a part of it again.

But I'm still here. Take it like the movie whiplash. You thought it was exaggerating? NO. I have been THROWN stuff for forgetting my part. and many famous conductors such a toscanini. one time he was so angry he insult the musician by saying he has no eyes and no ears.

which is pretty instulting for a musician. I hope this thread may change your perspective of how "easy" music is and change the stigma of musician doesnt do hard work. i almost got carpel turnel from practising.
