Going on set for An Adventure In Space And Time was, genuinely, one of the best days of my life. From the moment I walked into the production offices and saw a giant ‘It Is Forbidden...’ poster I screamed and was in AWE #London1963
But *everyone* on set just seemed to be grinning from ear to ear, there was so much love going into the production. Particularly from @Markgatiss, who encouraged me to take photos... #London1963
Obviously now I’m regretting having such a naff camera phone, but it was another (space and) time... #London1963
Everywhere you looked there was something amazing and immediately recognisable - but I still gasped when I turned and saw this... #London1963
Another shot of the Daleks on Skaro - in truth a few metres to the left of the console room set #London1963
There was so much going on - a set within a set, basically - that it wasn’t possible to get a ‘clear’ TARDIS shot as things were moved from corners that weren’t being filmed in. I still love seeing all the behind-the-scenes stuff #London1963
The day I was there, they were filming in Totter’s Lane. Imagine walking into the set of Totter’s Lane! Mind blown. #London1963
Here was the back of those pesky faulty doors... And some nearby monitors placed in the TARDIS while filming the junkyard scenes #London1963
Some filming of *that* scene. As a lifelong #DoctorWho fan, it was so surreal seeing this happening in front of me. Like I said, the most incredible day... #London1963
...how could I not? Thanks to the lovely @bradders_david for obliging me, to @sacha_dhawan for being a delight to chat to on the day and, of course, to @Markgatiss for making it all happen.
