Dr. Mahlet Mesfin ( @MahletNMesfin) is a Visiting Scholar at the @PennBiden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. Dr. Mesfin consults on issues at the nexus of science, technology, and foreign affairs. Previously, she was the Director of @SciDip at @AAAS 4/7
Dr. @AdrianaBankston is the Principal Legislative Analyst at the University of California Office of Federal Governmental Relations. She’s an advocate for UC with Congress, Administration, and federal agencies, and is VP of @FORsymp and Chief Outreach Officer at @SciPolJournal 5/7
Dr. Cheryl Smith is a Science Policy Analyst at the @NIH Office of the Director, focusing on policy related to genomics and genetic data sharing. She received her Ph.D. in Human Genetics and Cancer from the University of Michigan and did a postdoc in epidemiology at @theNCI 6/7
