unrested to address a serious issue that has been happening in this fandom & its very upsetting to see this happening every single time. you may have seen WayV's supertopic filled with long posts out of nowhere so here's the context:

"Unfair Treatment from WayVspace to Yunqis"

disclaimer:

i'm a person who is against bringing supertopic materials to twitter but i believe this is more than "drama" but an actual PROBLEM needed to be addressed properly for fans who has no access to weibo/ do not understand what is happening.

What is WayVspace?

a fan support station for WayV and one of the hosts for WayV's supertopic.

if you are a host for WayV's supertopic, you are able to control everything within the supertopic.

What caused it?

p1 — op posted on ST a fanmade scenario (similar to fake texts on twt):

a lot of wayzennis in the comment were supporting op and saying winwin should reply with "gaming, i like gaming too!"

before this, many antis/wayzennis have always been saying only play games & is l*zy so this post made a lot of yunqis mad as would NEVER encourage them to play games over study.

more so, he spends his free times wisely and yunqis wish ppl can kick of this narrative of his.

p1 to p3 — yunqis commented on op's post and POLITELY asked op to re-edit winwin's part and gave op suggestions what winwin would say.

p4 — one of the yunqis even dmed op with a positive attitude because it seems like op did not "see" the comments. however, op ignored.

p1 — op then ignored yunqis' comments and went ahead to delete yunqis' comments.

p2 — op posted a weibo saying to respect her freedom of speech in a rude way and disregarding the comments about re-editing despite yunqis politely asking her.

yunqi who dmed op took it to WayV's supertopic to express her feelings:

1. educate fans to kick the "only knows how to play games" narrative of winwin

2. respect winwin and yunqis, we have a voice too

3. wish op can understand yunqis' point to re-edit the post

The ISSUE.

p1 — few hours later, yunqi discovered that her post is deleted and her user blocked off WayV supertopic by WayVspace.

p2 — rules for WayV supertopic created by hosts

yunqis are really mad:

1. post did not violate supertopic rules, no swearings, no fights, all addressed politely.
2. post to educate about winwin's characteristic, just like how other fans will do posts to let fans gain knowledge about that idol.

so WHY did WayVspace do that?

the yunqi then dmed WayVspace for an explanation why is she blocked & her post got deleted even though she did not violate the rules. however space replied saying is a post to "create war" when the post is NOT, giving a few excuses here and there.

WayVspace then threatened the yunqi saying "So do you want to continue getting blocked?" after asking for reasons why she is blocked.

tell me, as WayV fan support club, is this behaviour accepted? threatening after someone who did not violate rules? talk about unprofessionalism.

WayVspace then dmed the yunqi an apology letter and also removed one of the admins from gc who threatened her.

however, why is the apology in the dms? many other yunqis are hurt & affected by this too. as this is a public issue, a public apology should be issued instead.

this is not the first time WayVspace did this, in fact they have blocked COUNTLESS yunqis off the WayV ST for NO REASON w/o violating rules. we are just fans supporting their idols. other fans have similarly made posts for their fav & start fights but why are only yunqis blocked?

yunqis are unfairly demonised on both twitter and weibo. we have been accused for being toxic but have you even considered what we have gone through? the unfair treatment? WayVspace as a fan support club of all 7 boys has abused their power to actually stop yunqis from posting.

other than that, an issue recently on bilibili where a yunqi posted "Dong Sicheng!" in the comments but wayzennis urged op to delete when others are commenting their fav too but said nothing?

WHY is it always yunqis when we are just trying to support like everyone else?

in conclusion, this is what yunqis hope for:

1. stop insisting the "he only knows how to play game and be lazy" narrative
2. a fair treatment to yunqis, stop blocking us on WayV supertopic
3. respect winwin and yunqis equally
4. public apology from WayVspace
