Y’all the electoral system is not the extent of our power. Our labor is actually our greatest point of leverage if folks would be willing to work together in solidarity instead of worshiping the ownership class that oppresses us & makes sure our votes amount to little change.

I keep trying to have this convo with people and it’s very difficult to get folks to examine the enormous amount of untapped power we have apart from one day in November.

We would get more of the policies we need more quickly by supporting a general strike & bringing the economy to a stand still until the elite capitulate to our demands than we will by voting & waiting on legislation. This has been true throughout history.

Workers are having to protest & strike right now just to demand basic things so they don’t die while on the job. Millions of others are being laid off with no relief. The billionaires got ~$434B more & the elected leaders are on vacation. This is madness.

We shouldn’t be waiting until November for anything. We should be shutting the whole thing down right now in working class solidarity.
