Well, I just received a denial of unemployment benefits in the US because, even though I paid my quarterly estimates, I haven't filed my taxes/claimed my '19 wages yet due to the tax filing extension we were granted. /2
I have filed an appeal, but the purpose of this thread isn't to have a pity party for me. It's to highlight the ridiculous hoops that people are forced to jump through for support during this crisis. Especially given that a govt is supposed to be as means of protection/support /3
I can only imagine what people in a less privileged position are going through. /4
