i want to address some sexual assault and r*pe stuff because i’m seeing a lot of brave women coming out about their abusers/ rapists. i just want to reiterate a tweet i’ve made in the past about it.

personally i saw a tweet about someone i have slept with a couple years ago and it made me question a lot of the relationship. i want to make sure people know that just because you realize something was WRONG later, doesn’t make it less WRONG.

when you get sexually assaulted or anything of that sort it can take years to even realize it was happening. it doesn’t make your experience any less traumatic, or less wrong.

if you talk about it years later, it doesn’t make you less credible or accountable. it doesnt matter how much time has passed, you’re speaking the truth, and you are believed.
