Ironically, the rich work longer and harder than anyone else unlike in previous generations of the wealthy class.

As a result, we are at record levels of wealth disparity.
Wealth that was "self-made" has inverted with wealth that was inherited.

A new rich class has been created with the wealthy focused on the training of their children to become ultra-productive.
This focus on training and ultra-productivity is why the rich work more than everyone, are fitter than everyone, have better educations and social connections than everyone else.
The American dream has been competed away from the middle class (40-90th income percentile). Simultaneously, the jobs middle class Americans held have been devalued.
If you're a baby boomer and haven't neared retirement yet, you're probably too late.
