I remember her asking, “So what’s the story?” And I was like, “The beauty is there is no story, it’s just meditative facts and images. It’s the process! The process is beautiful!” She had no interest whatsoever.

For context, this was something like five years ago. I only got the meeting because a prominent Netflix producer was a fan of the 99pi. It kinda felt like a “no” the minute it started.
