maybe i’ll be more accepting of cishet asexuals in lgbt spaces .,, theyre not hurting anyone i guess but cishet ace folks speaking up abt lgbt issues still makes me immensely uncomfortable im sorry

i still struggle a little bit with seeing how sex-drive (or lack thereof) makes you inherently lgbt.. i guess kind of how hypersexuals wouldn’t be considered lgbt but i think ive been a little too gatekeeper-y abt it and i want to apologize for that

i genuinely respect and believe in asexuals validity but i guess the cishet aspect of it kind of confused me and made me very wary about it. i still am a little sus, being completely honest, but i don’t want to be ignorant or hostile abt it anymore

im open to being educated on this now btw, i don’t want to start a discussion but i genuinely want to learn and listen to arguments for this
