I'm tired. I'm tired of watching white people "protest" because they want to cut their hair while my family is watching our beloved cousin Alvin and his wife buried via Zoom this morning.

I'm tired. I'm tired of seeing this pandemic be spoken about in the context of capitalism and the economy while Black people are dying alone in hospitals and nursing homes around the country.

I'm tired. I'm tired of being told that one 70+ yr old white man with a terrible history of criminalizing poor Black people is somehow going to make everything better for my people.

I'm tired. I'm tired of being tired. And I'm tired of being told I don't have a right to be tired.
