He also said lots of ancient cultures would press babies’ lips together if they noticed them open, to encourage nose breathing. Apparently mouth breathing hinders proper development of the sinus and skull...
Also said that Spartan children, when training to become warriors, would need to run many miles with their mouth full of water the whole time - forcing nasal breathing and self control...

Try exhaling fully. All the air out. Every last bit of it. It takes some effort. But in addition to eliminating all the CO2 in our lungs, it engages the abs which makes you shredded and helps with posture.
