They say homeschooling leads to "child abuse and low-quality education."

James Dwyer says we shouldn't have shut down schools because he thinks children are being abused more in their homes than in schools

There isn't any evidence for that claim.

But 1 in 10 children are estimated to experience sexual misconduct by employees in government schools.

Dwyer cites a 2014 "study" to claim homeschooling causes more abuse.

The study says no such thing.

The authors used a hand-picked sample of 28 children.

The lead author was also under investigation for allegedly pressuring colleagues to find abuse that wasn't actually there.
