I make custom action figures, like this #goldenage Dan Garret Blue Beetle.

I dunno why, but the beetle has always been one of my favorite heroes.

Who do you love?
My dad does customs and #kitbash toys like this Amazing Hulkbuster repaint. #ironman never looked so cool.
My recent focus as been #vintagescifi mashups, like these #ahi/ #tomland #space1999 toys.

We cast and paint the heads ourselves, and dress out bodies from doc mego and @FiguresToyCo with a mix of home made, vintage, doc mego, and FTC clothes and accessories.
Of course, we also do our own original costumes, accessories, sculpts, and complete original figures.

Here are some of each of those.
The rocketman from that last post is kind of interesting.

When he's done, he will be a limited articulation 3.75" figure, molded and cast in solid resin from an original design but with obvious inspiration from Kenner.

Right now, he's just over 9 inches tall and 3d printed.
3D printing gives us a chance to prototype and iterate in a way that just simply was not possible in the past, and I think there's a huge potential in 3D printed toys as resolution or speed increases.

For me, it means I can work out details and paint jobs before going small.
This mimics the way toy designers worked in the classic era of you manufacturing, with the caveat that they had Teams of people working with them, and I have only myself.

The upshot is that I can, by myself, do the kind of work that used to take a team, almost.
I'm not much of a painter, really. I do okay with mego scale heads, but I really struggle with anything smaller.

I painted the rocketman three or four times before I got to what you see there, and I'm still not really happy with it, but he'll do for a prototype.
I've done the rocketman accessories at mego scale too. These were printed quickly, so they are a little rougher than the other ones. And, of course, his clothes are wrong.

Our final production run, whenever that is, will feature a little more polish, but here's a WIP.
Here's a few more shots of some of our custom action figures with original packaging, and a shot of my Mike Hazard starring in a neo noir cyberpunk thriller.
Of course, I have a bit of a soft spot for Mr. Hazard. #marxtoys never made anything cooler than Mike (well, except for the Space Patrol/Tom Corbett/Rex Mars line, but that's another thread.)
