Govt has issued directive to reserve 80% beds in all pvt hospitals for patients affected by Covid 19.
Rate card is also issued.

This raises a few questions and there will be huge conflict between Hosp & patients -

1. Hospitals will ask for deposit before admission.
2. There will be recurrent (daily) bills.
3. What happens to bill when patient expires?

All thorny perennial issues.

In current political environment, doctors and pvt hospitals will suffer most.
Unless doctor and hospital has excellent political clout or politicians as direct/indirect investors, hospitals are unlikely to be viable.

Add to that major problem of disappearing staff (huge fear of Corona) , how is all this going to work?

Will the politicians supply their Karyakarta s to work in hospital?

These people who usually vandalise hospitals, will they serve in hospitals?

Will the vocal middle class step out to volunteer at health centres?

All questions. Almost no answers.
