Louise has always engaged with us on the topics we care about, responded to questions, shared her ideas and thoughts. She brought many of us together with her impulsive acts of friendliness and nicknames.
Louise frequently talked about her wife. How much she loved Julie and how important their marriage was to her, a priority such that she was willing to step back from her blossoming GC work.
Healthy relationships are fraught with tension at times. Stress from work, finances, illness, life & twitter. Who hasn& #39;t exchanged bitter angry words with their loved ones over opinions, money, chores... It& #39;s a big gap between arguments & systemic abuse.
Abuse... many of us have experienced abuse; physical, mental, financial, sexual, verbal. The mind games, the pain and fear, the anger, the constant threat of damage to what is important to us. It& #39;s soul destroying.
Rumours are a particularly disgusting form of attack. Worse still that she is targeted at time when she is grieving for her wife. Whispers, innuendo, vague accusations, lies,hints of abuse. Never anything solid to refute, but enough to make people feel confused, and wary.
This vicious rumour campaign fills me with disgust. From people who have been presented with evidence of a smear campaign and the personal testimonies of unwanted attentions, this is just a vile act; to target Louise as part of a vendetta to shut her up
Louise placed her personal and professional life on the line because of her belief in the sex based rights of women. Because she believes that women are not a prop for her career. So, to
