in all honesty, people aren’t taking into consideration the effects on year 12 and having to completely teach themselves a quarter of their a levels and beginning the process of applying to uni despite have no work experience etc to back themselves up.
for me, it’s gotten to the point where i’m unbelievably behind and i’m stuck on what i can do because all we’re getting is an email once a week of the work and no feedback and little to no support.
i understand no ones situation is worse but why are we not being taken into account during all of this? our future lies within how well we do on these a levels and yet we’re expected to become our own teachers?
for me and many others, i’ve never been able to learn sufficiently without it being taught to me. we’re a year group of all different capabilities and strengths and we’re being grouped together completely?
i’ll more than likely have to rethink my entire future due to this because i know i won’t be able to perform to my best capabilities because of this situation and i won’t get near or at all the grades i thought i would at the start of the year. it really is tough.
