The Ninth Amendment (Amendment IX) to the U.S. Constitution (the amendment most people forget) addresses rights, retained by the people, that are not specifically enumerated in the Constitution. It is part of the Bill of Rights.
This amendment was introduced during the drafting of the Bill of Rights when some of the American founders became concerned that future generations might argue that, because a certain right was not listed in the Bill of Rights, it did not exist.
So what does this mean to us? It means that government cannot tell me to stick a needle in my arm if I do not agree. It means that I don’t have to wear a mask if I do not agree.
My choices are my own and I will gain reward, or suffer consequences for those choices. If immunizations work then let me die from some 3rd world disease, furthering herd immunity, but Congress cannot enact a law that violates my individual right to choose!
